“When my 2 year old son Cody started seeing Dr. Felicity a month ago he had been having several ongoing issues including frequent carsickness, coughing at night, and recurrent diaper rash. The carsickness and coughing at night started 7 months ago after a fall that required him to get stitches in his lip (very hard/traumatic fall.) Our pediatrician had dismissed it as a normal childhood phase, but I (unable to leave the subdivision without puke some days) was not convinced and was tired of feeling like no one was listening to me. Since the first day, Dr. Felicity has listened carefully and been so sweet with my son. The first 2 weeks we saw her, he continued to throw up (6 out of 14 days) and then it just stopped. He has not gotten sick for 2 weeks! His cough and diaper rash have also disappeared (but I’m not sure if that is due to chiropractic or a diagnosis and treatment of toddler reflux and asthma, time will tell.) There were some other hidden “side effects” that I was not anticipating. When my son hugs me now, he squeezes me 3x stronger. I didn’t even think he had low muscle tone before, but it was so noticeable! Due to the adjustments he has had, I believe that he hears better because he’s gone from using 2 word sentences to 4 word sentences and holding an entire conversation with me (this is the benefit everyone around us notices!) My only regret in seeking chiropractic care is that I waited so long. I thought he was a happy kid before, but his personality really has changed in the last month. He feels so much better. This really has been life changing for me, I no longer have to worry about packing 2-3 changes of clothes to leave the house and clean the car seat nightly, and worry about how much he’s eating (because of how much he’s losing!)Today at this adjustment we were cracking up because he was laughing so hard as Dr. Felicity was adjusting him. Thank you Dr. Felicity!”
“I started seeing Dr. Keough at the beginning of my second trimester. I had decided to seek chiropractic treatment during my pregnancy because I had read all about the positive benefits, and Dr. Keough was one of the first results that appeared when I searched online. At the beginning of my treatment, I wasn’t having too many pregnancy-related issues, so Dr. Keough was able to help correct some chronic issues that I had been having.
As my pregnancy progressed, I would hear other women complaining about back pain and pelvic pain, but I never really had to deal with that. When I started to have the slightest ache in those areas, Continue reading
What happens during the birthing process can be traumatic to an infant’s delicate neck and spine. Additionally, as children grow and develop they accumulate “micro-trauma’s” in their spine. For example, falling or bumping their head while a child learns how to walk causes spinal distress. Chiropractic assists in removing the accumulated micro-trauma from their spine so children can continue to grow and develop free from spinal distress which can ultimately affect them later in life.
Chiropractor Felicity Keough explains the why chiropractic treatments are necessary to start at birth.
