I came to Dr. Keough in June 2011 on a friend’s referral. Thanks to my friend, Jackie Ordelheide, I finally found THE health professional that has turned my life around.
I have Fibromyalgia and have experience different levels of pain over the past 15 years. This past March, the pain level escalated out of control. I began having severe sacroiliac pain after standing for 3 ½ hours in heels at a funeral. My rheumatologist referred me to a pain management physician where I received several shots that didn’t seem to help. I had received chiropractic help from another physician, as well. My pain level had increased to the point that I didn’t want to get out of bed, dress for the day, see friends or participate in social activities that I enjoy. All I wanted to do was “hibernate” and cry. My friends saw a total withdrawal in a person that normally had an outgoing personality, one that enjoyed going out to laugh and enjoy life.
After two months of pain that I couldn’t tolerate, here enters Dr. Felicity Keough. When I met her, I found a loving, caring youg woman who was eager to see what she could do to help me. I have to admit she was so tiny, I wasn’t sure how she could move me around to do any good. My concerns were put to rest in no time. She thoroughly evaluated me and began trying different techniques until she found what worked best for me. It was not immediate and I didn’t expect it to be! I required two office visits per week for the first four months due to the poor condition I was in. I don’t think that is required by most of her patients, but that IS what it took for me to get my pain level down to a manageable degree. I am now seeing Dr. Keough once a week until she thinks that the regimen can be altered. I truly appreciate her expertise.
I can’t begin to thank Dr. Keough for improving my quality of life. I am not sure what I would have done without her. I feel that chiropractic help from Dr. Keough has played an important role in improving my health.
Thanks, Dr. K!!!!!
